Although, they told me on my second child that if I had to take the 3 hour test I wouldn't have to hang around the lab. I guess the policy changed...or it could be that we were in a different state...Vickihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08038052536284974596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8507654362105252327.post-30887571364732670182008-10-21T17:47:00.000-07:002008-10-21T17:47:00.000-07:00Vicki,Thanks for reminding me to post those ultras...Vicki,

Thanks for reminding me to post those ultrasound pics! But still, the doctor advised that the only reason for inducing would be to avoid a c-section (which I really don't want to mess with). So, anyway, we are gonna play it by ear. Hopefully Mike's head will just stop growing so fast and everything will be normal!!

And yes - lets hang out! I'm...Can't wait to see the ultrasound pics! I'm convinced I had gestational diabetes with my first baby. I had to do the three hour glucose test, which came back normal, but my baby grew huge too. They never talked about induction. She was 9 lbs 4 oz at birth with a ginormous head (I'll give you the war story if you want). Then again, you may just grow big babies. Both my husband and I were near-nine pounders ourselves.

Hopefully all goes well with you and Mike and you both stay completely healthy!Vickihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08038052536284974596noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8507654362105252327.post-82546053660591925062008-10-20T10:11:00.000-07:002008-10-20T10:11:00.000-07:00If I may add my two cents- be leery if they are pu...If I may add my two cents- be leery if they are pushing induction on you- do your own research. Hopefully you pass your glucose tolerance test- my boss had to do the 3 hour test and said it stunk. Plus being diagnosed w/ gestational diabetes is no picnic either. When we have our next one, I will do whatever I can to avoid being induced, Pitocin really made my labor process difficult. In other news, looking forward to your shower but wouldn't mind getting together beforehand- have any free time this week? XOXOLiz Cogginsnoreply@blogger.com
